Kitchen staff didnt wash their hands and when confronted about it the manager lady became very angry and argumentative with me and told me i could leave. I would not recommend!

Fire food and cheap fire drinks. Definitely slide if you have the chance

If it were possible to give this restaurant zero stars I would. I have went there about three times, and every time I have been beyond disappointed in the service. The servers are to busy talking to each other to take care of the customers and after waiting 45 minutes to place your order you would expect the order to be right. Especially when it was as simple as do not put anything on the quesadilla except shrimp and cheese, which is due to me having allergies. Then the entire party was held up because it wasn’t even a rushed order, it literally took even longer to get the food the second time. The management needs to do some retraining on service all around. It’s such a shame that the service is so poor because the restaurant itself is cute and in a good location.

fajitas all the way here, most evrything else doesn't really have much flavor - nice inside tho and the ppl were very nice

Food is good and waitstaff is very friendly. I will say the signs that are left around the restaurant directed at the staff are rude and disrespectful. The signs threaten staff that if they make a mistake on an order or break a plate they are responsible for paying for it. I worked in the service industry in college and that in my opinion that’s not a way to treat your employees.

The food is great here and the staff is welcoming. This is the best restaurant I think I’ve ever been in and even have good foods for kids. And the margaritas are delicious. 10/10

Asked for a Martini. The bartender gave me a drink made from some kind of awful tasting mix that my server said had been behind the bar for 3 months. Martinis are made fresh. Perhaps they should hire a bartender that actually knows how to mix drinks.

Empty restaurant, no service, wasn't even acknowledged. Wanted to try somewhere new and different. I guess we picked the wrong place. Left after waiting almost 5 minutes.

Asked management for ground beef without onions, they couldn't accommodate but then proceeded to be extremely rude when I asked why not.

Today was a busy day in our favorite restaurant. Huge party in the Middle. Our waitress Kathleen was So friendly and sweet. Refilled drinks, chips and salsa , and accommodated my family so well. We come here all the time and honestly have never felt so welcomed till meeting this young lady. Don Patron , You're doing something right with this one. We will definitely be back for her. Great food as always 😍 Never a complaint there.

Wow. That's the best way to describe it. Exceptional food at a good price, a attentive and friendly staff. This is the best place for Mexican food hands down.

Alright. Service was ok. Manager came by multiple times to insure we had everything we needed. Without him checking the server would have missed some things.

We stopped in for an early dinner before grocery shopping. This was our second visit here. Our waiter was very personable and efficient. The food was great too!

Should be a rating for this place less than 1 star. Tortillas are store bought, not hand made gross. The steak and chicken is cut into such small pieces that it becomes hard and chewy like grizzle when cooked. My dogs eat better food.

Eat here with CAUTION- Several years ago under old ownership this place was great, recent years in has really struggled. No surprise it was shut down by health department on 7/2!

My family and I have been going there for three years now. For the first time we were very disappointed in the service and food here. I dont need to explain how my food was or the service I got. The manager or owner should all ready get the hint with the help wanted sign on the front door as you walk in. Not looking for free food just like to go to a restaurant that I use to like for some good food. Yulee has only a hand full of restaurants. I like to stay in town for a nice dinner.

Service was great!!! Humorous, lively and attentive staff. Menu selection was surprisingly complete, minor special requests handled well. LOTS of hot food, complementary chips and salsa. Had a good time, and will be back!

The fish tacos were 10% fish 90% sauce. If they mess up they will booze you up for free though.

I usually enjoy the food and love the idea of being able to have it delivered from door dash but whoever is bagging the orders needs some training. Twice in a row, no salsa with order. Last order was not correct and was a sloppy mess. Don't have a special instructions section if you are not going to take the time to read it!! There will not be a third time unless I'm going to pick it up myself so I can check the order. Very disappointed!

Server was spot on. Very attentive. Food tasty. Disappointed that no one was wearing masks and in between guests I only saw tables being wiped with a cloth ..not the amount of cleaning I would have expected. The bar did a great job of social distancing the parties. Prices reasonable, beer cold, atmosphere good.

I've been coming here for close to 5 years now and it's still just as amazing as the first visit! Always super busy but food is always amazing and service is always exceptional. My favorite!

The service was outstanding and the fajitas were delicious. I enjoyed every bite. They give you a lot of food for your money and their prices are very reasonable. Their complimentary chips and salsa is very good. I love how they put cilantro in their salsa. Too many places don't do that! I give Don Patron's two thumbs up and 5 stars! I'm very picky about my Mexican food and they live up to my high standards! I'll definitely be back!...I have been back several more times since my last post. I have almost tried everything on the menu and I have really enjoyed everything I have ever ordered.

What a pleasant surprise when we stopped in here. We live in the area and always liked over this restaurant on the way to others. I'm so glad we stopped though. It's our new favorite Mexican restaurant. Food is delicious, and comes out super fast. The staff is always giving us free shots too. Two thumbs up.

Trey was such an amazing server. My boyfriend and I were passing through town and decided to stop by. Trey was so attentive and knew how to take care of our table. I would absolutely come back because he made our dinner so delightful

Real great mexican authentic food large portion good prices they also have e a full bar great drinks.

I wish I could rate 0 but the two stars is because of the lady at the door. The only good thing about this place was the chip server and the lady at the door. It took us an hour to get our food. I do believe she forgot to put it in. How do you forget that?! And on top of that. No drink refills? Server was barley at the table! The lady at the door checked on us more! I wish she was our server! By the time we received our food. We didn’t even want it. We won’t be back. Thanks for nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best mexican food in town by far

As soon as we came in we were greeted nicely. Everything was pleasant until our server came over. Our drinks were always empty. And she was constantly chewing on something, she’d talk to us and spit would fly out of her mouth. She has semi short curly in a pony tail and long sleeves. I’ve never had an unpleasant experience at dons until now. This was the absolute worst service we’ve ever had and we will not be back. Don’t waste your money or time. Thanks for the face full of spit!

Regular hang out, we frequent here at least once a week. We only eat at the bar, drink orders taken quickly and chips and salsa brought out, they have a spicy ranch dip but you have to ask for it. I like the Diabla tacos but they are spicy.
